1/1/10 c-blog, WE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SAY ABBA, ACT LIKE CHILDREN OF GOD, St. Philip (noon) M: "...today church celebrates feast of mary the mother of God...now on new years day its no longer about mary but about us as sons of God...we need to learn how to say "abba"...another moment...sometimes get lost in Biblical mysteries...don't forget our role as children of God...learn to be & act as children...abba...I pray for your families..."

"..this years rose theme is 'cut above the rest'..but there is a tendency in uus not to be what we are supposed to be..science shows we are all unique..evven the people in the bible wincluding Jesus were temptrf to be what they not sppsd to be...we are called to be children of God...to be, ourselves, a cut above the rest...moving toward authenticity in life..mother mary...ordianry lady/girl was ready to prove her authentic self..she proved she was a cut above the rest..each of us are called to prove our uniqueness.that's what we are celebrating in the rose parade today..."
