U NEVER KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT ON THESE "SETS"
I sat down at Dodger stadium & a gal sat next to me...they told us to "chat" with the person next to us as if we were at a game with some friends...so I started conversing with this girl..turned out she was from San Diego...& had gone to the MTV awards last night..she mentioned her friend went to Azusa (which is a local Christian college here in southern Cal) & I nodded knowngly (its a good school, fairly conservative, a lot of the valley Christian kids who don't go to Calvin opt for Azusa or Biola instead)...
& we talked about baseball..mentioned padres,,angels, etc..& a guy in front of me said something...& then I said "You look like Henry Winkler"...& the gal next tp me said "Who?" & I said "Yoi don't know Fonzi? Happy Days" ? & she had NO CLUE, ha ha..I said you must be young...& the conversation kept going for a while about this & that..& then she got up & went to get a snack (they had a free snack bar for us)...& a few minutes later I went to the restroom.
When I came back she was gone. They apparently had moved her for whatever reason. So I sat there for a few moments & the guy who looked like Henry Winkler uddenly turned around & said "She was F--k--g Cute...". Up to that point he seemed like a nice, respectable fellow (I heard him say he was retired from some sort of factory job & now took "casting calls" as an extra on a daily basis...some people make a living out of it..or supplement their income...as a "paid extra").
But I thought that was a disrespectful comment. To say "She's nice" is one thing, or even "pretty" But to say the F word..& speak of her just as an object like that PLUS right next to a family (mother father + their 2 kids next to him) was rude, to say the least. But as they say, "That's Hollywood". You can have some very crude people right next to you at any moment even in the midst of what you think is "polite society." Think again.
