[here's my final blog] Miss america, parked 3c 439p escorted into large room w/ lots of people and tables, all seat-fillers apparently, 6 ladies one guy at our table ...much longer line downstairs for those w/ actual tickets, said prayer outside while waiting, ..lots of people w/ cameras, even tho the website said "absolutely no cameras". I have my cellphone (which has a cam), and was concerned abt taking it w/ me, but these people have full-fledged cams, so I think I should be fine. I had a yellow card but a lady gave me a blue card trying to be nice...they said we would be in the front row..but were still waiting..we can hear the pageant in progress and intermittently see it thru the curtains..but then they close Were escorted down thru a maze of stairs..back hallways, 617 p they're already choosing semi-finalists..Nebraska, texas, rhode island, utah , washington, arizona, virgina..arkansas, california (gal next to me says "there's my girl") 11 total..I only heard 9 .surprising that most of the seatfillers are women..maybe 80% Paramedics treating lady..620p ...we have one fellow who is supposed to be coordinating our "blue group" ..tall african-american fellow...I'm actually beginning to get bored standing out here..and wondering if we will actually get in and see anything ....green zigzag carpet below my feet ..more semi finalists..oregon is the last one..631p We finally got seats..not front row though..there was a mixup...so we ended up on top ..but at least we can sit & watch...the mc is talking football ..said the packers are leading..
