9/23/11 cblog OUR LIVES R BEST WHEN WE GIVE R BEST 2 GOD; ho fam fr viet 1, 12p "our lives r best when we give r best to god..peter wsnt able to see the crucifixion...(?) .[partly inaudible].he said that before the crucifixion (?)...so Jesus invitesu s to see the paschl mystery, take that out,, u don't see the big pic, look back on fr pio ..many went to see him.. hoping praying for miracles for themselves,,fr pio was asked to not say mass in public ...hard for a saintly priest not to say mass ..focus on savior ..b/c we r embraced ... pain & suffering society has ....on us...the petty..so when we come to eucharist we ask god to sustain us on our faith..may god give us the loving touch...as we cont. May god give us the true peace we long for, not the peace of the world" 1st reading
