8/25/10 cblog IF WHAT WE SAY IS NOT WHAT WE LIVE, WE NEED METANOIA (change of heart) HOLY FAM 630p "To the woman caught in act of adultery..nobody..neither do I condemn u..to the person who wanted to walk again..."pick up your mat & walk.."..to the woman seeking healing..10 lepers..plus your sins are forgiven..to the person next to Jesus on cross "today u will be w/ me in paradise.." ..when Jesus tells u this & that..its wonderful, but he reserved the harsh words for pharisees & hypocrites..opposite of woe is bless..given woe..that means God is no longer w/ u..its a curse..all sorts of evil on u..that's the meaning of woe...remember last Monday..I said all of us are guilty of being pharisees..when u say u r not..u are one..how easy to find faults of others..gossip..means you're not part of the problem nor the solution...that's gossip...slander..slander..even telling the truth, but with the intention to destroy...pharisees..harsh word.s. ..this is how evil nature works..your clothes don't fit u right..saying..look at my clothes..they fit perfect..say to sb u have bad character..saying look at me I'm so good..Jesus wanted to give the pharisees redemption, but they were so blinded..they couldn't see their own faults...we don't need to look in the mirror to see a pharisee..heart of Jesus message is metanoia..what causes me to be greedy ? Go down to the roots..if what we say is not what we live out..we need metanoia..pray for compassion are we compassionate..pray for patience , are we patient..can't do it on our own..ask god for changr of heart..before metanoia...koinonia...emptying...(I think he meant kenosis) 2 Thess 3:6-10, 16-18 "We instruct you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to shun any brother who walks in a disorderly way and not according to the tradition they received from us.
