Re BLACK KID v ARMENIAN, MR. ROGERS, NO REGULAR TEACHER
Black kid named GARY (nice kid) got picked on by an ARMENIAN KID (ruben)...I was back at the school where "Mr rogers' called me gay, ha ha (saw him today...he's a dean now...all puffed up & proud of himself..came near where I was with a group of kids getting their books...started trying to act cool in front of them...he seemed to be angling my way so I keot angling the other way, ha ha ..I avoided him...I KNOW he saw my note so I will leave it at that...)...
anyways,,, I covered a spanish class which is "unfilled" meaning no teacher...maybe they thought I would want to be a "long-term" sub but I'm not interested...& made that clear...too many problems at this school....after lunch these 2 kids gary & ruben started exchanging jokes about each other...I wasn't sure what was going on at first..I thought they were friends...but it kept going on & on..so I finally started trying to unravel what was behind it..& it turns out the armenian kid came in & said this joke to Gary:
"WHY DON'T PEOPLE EAT THE BLACK JELLY BEANS ?
BECAUSE NOBODY CARES ABOUT THEM?" I would call that very offensive & even "fighting words" but Gary managed to avoid physical conflict & turned it back on Ruben,making jokes about him & throwing a few Armenian stereotypes at him (something about insurance fraud & a mercedes).... then ruben started making jokes about black people & chicken, about seeing gary on "cops" show...etc etc...& I finally put a stop to it...trying to let gary get the last word in since it was ruben who instigated it..& that's the way a lot of armenians are..every time I go there I see or hear something from an armenian (which is too bad b/c there are lots of good armenians too).
