5/1/11 LIVE ! OSAMA BIN LADEN KILLED ! OBAMA AUTHORIZED HELICOPTER ATTACK, WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL OPERATION...I just heard it ..suddenly at midnight here in California I woke up, unable to sleep, & went online & couldn't believe what I was reading. Osama Bin Laden has been killed, must have actually happened when I was inside Blessed Sacrament Church on Sunset in Hollywood listening to a church choir concert.  Obama announced it from White House at 1135pm (est) :  "At 11:35 p.m., Obama stood before the cameras at the White House and said, "Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden."
