LOTS of good times at Alger, this was 2nd grade as best as I can recall & figure..that's ME, BACK ROW 2nd TO LEFT (dark blue). Next to me on the right in red shirt...I'm wondering if it is Colin Piers. Next to red shirt is Kevin Dalson & Mike Waalkes . I remember the name Amy Anton & think she's one of those in the right towards the front (maybe red shirt), next to red shirt on left is that Kerry? I think that's Amy Hornung front row , two to the right of Ms Edmunds (red & blue). I also remember the gal 2nd from right, front row (green)... but cant remember her name.
The STAR of the SHOW, ha ha ! They called me Philip back then, JOHN now..or VANDER !

Above Mr. Clements on the very left end is Greg Heynen, who also attended our church. Heynens were great friends of our family for many years, but I haven't heard from them in ages. To the right of Mr. Clements is Dave Engelhard (blue shirt), and at the very end of the same row
I'm guessing is Mike Waalkes (also blue)
IN the ABOVE A FEW I RECOGNIZE, OF COURSE MYSELF (Top, 2nd to LEFT), ALSO BOTTOM, 2ND to RIGHT MAY BE RICK BYLE . I didn't even realize he was in my pre-school class, but it sure looks like him. And definitely to the right of Rick is Sara Gezon. Both Rick & Sara must have immediately gone to Seymour after pre-school at Alger, but I stayed at Alger thru 4th grade. (Rick died in a snowmobile accident a few years ago)
In this little section the two faces I recognize are Vicky Vandenbosch (bottom left) and Kevin "Gubby" Dalson (bottom right). Vicky later married Dave Tuuk. Kevin lived at the other end of our street (Griswold) .

7/17/11 LEAVING TONIGHT SHOW we MADE A LEPRECHAUN WORLD RECORD !...that's my third world record !...first time was at angel stadium...most people wearing red blankies...2nd was at dodger stadium..longest scream by so many people. (led by Ozzie Osborne)..& NOW this..most leprechauns in one room..over 200. ...they started asking for leprechaun volunteers last week..& I volunteered as a good sport..so today, st. pat's day..I showed up at noon as they requested and we were escorted into wardrobe & makeup & given costumes,,,most given fake beards..but they said my real beard was good enough..they just spray painted it red..& sprayed my hair..they fed us pretty good food..drinks (no alcohol) ...treated us pretty well..not too many grumpy people yelling..decent time..the show came on..actor from "the office" was the special guest..a certain 50 who showed up early got to walk across the stafge during the show..but I guess I didn't arrive early enough..we stood in the so-called "green room" ..and the 50 joined us..an official rep from guiness was here..before the actual show we did a few practice takes...jay eas on the monitor in the other room..didn't look like he got much sleep last night...but seemed wide awake when the show started ...saw his red convertible jag..they say he drives a different car every day ...saw some back areas of nbc stuids I had never seen before ..an old stage..wonder if they ever use it anymore ..lots of people dressed in green ..good time in general ..did U SEE me on TV ?

I wonder if there's something in the contract about it..anyways,

(led by Ozzie Osborne)..& NOW this..most leprechauns in one room..over 200. ...they started asking for leprechaun volunteers last week..& I volunteered as a good sport..so today, st. pat's day..I showed up at noon as they requested and we were escorted into wardrobe & makeup & given costumes,,,most given fake beards..but they said my real beard was good enough..they just spray painted it red..& sprayed my hair..they fed us pretty good food..drinks (no alcohol) ...treated us pretty well..not too many grumpy people yelling..decent time..the show came on..actor from "the office" was the special guest..a certain 50 who showed up early got to walk across the stafge during the show..but I guess I didn't arrive early enough..we stood in the so-called "green room" ..and the 50 joined us..an official rep from guiness was here..before the actual show we did a few practice takes...jay eas on the monitor in the other room..didn't look like he got much sleep last night...but seemed wide awake when the show started ...saw his red convertible jag..they say he drives a different car every day ...saw some back areas of nbc stuids I had never seen before ..an old stage..wonder if they ever use it anymore ..lots of people dressed in green ..good time in general ..did U SEE me on TV ?

..she said she was from houston..working on a document for the supreme court case re violent cideo games & their effect on adolescents.. she was against these games...and was having trouble printing ..so I helped her a little..here she was on "vacation" from houston..nice day in manhattan beach ..she mentioned addiction..& that these violent video games have the same effect on people, esp young people, as drugs,..its an addiction she says. like drugs, like porno....I mentioned charlie sheen when she said this...& then she started , surprisingly, defending sheen..so she flip-flopped..saying she thought sheen had beenmistreated by his employers ..& didn't think he should be fired for drugs..altho I don't think they fired him for drugs, but for speaking outt so much re his employer, or chuck lorre in paricular ..does he have the right to free speech in regards to blasting his employers ? I wonder if there's something in the contract about it..anyways,

Israeli Orit Fox was at a photoshoot in Tel Aviv in which she alluringly used the boa constrictor. The snake suddenly lunged at her and bit her breast, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Fox was initially comfortable with the snake and wrapped it around her legs, waist and neck.
She then licked the snake, loosening the grip on its neck. The snake then sank its fangs into her left breast.
The model screamed for help, and an assistant struggled to pull off the determined snake. After a few seconds, the snake released its grip.Though Fox needed a tetanus shot in the hospital, it was the snake which came off worse as it died from silicone poisoning.
