10/10/10 BEING @ A RAIDER GAME IS LIKE A MORBID HALLOWEEN or DAY OF DEATH PARTY. LIKE WALKING THRU A CEMETERY...Altho up until 2nd half nobody was surly towards me ...then it was just an old white lady...who apparently hated the fact that the raiders were ever in los angeles (prob b/c oakland fans like her weren't loyal enough back in the day to fill the stadium, just like today...not sold out..so blacked out on tv).
..she was so sad & depressed & filled w/ bitterness..when she saw my SD hat she verbally attacked me, not in a good-hearted way, but in a definitely angry, bitter manner...beyond what any sport or game should instill in a "fan". she actually said, "Get out of here" as if she had the right to tell anybody where to go...& I didn't start the conversation, she did...I was passing thru trying to find a place to take a picture..that sad pathetic lady...& white for that matter..
...me being Anglo as well, I would hope for a little more comraderie, but NO, she's a "raiders fan"...that's her identity...she's lived her whole life thinking of herself as an "oakland raider" ..what did she do when they were in L.A. ? DID she lose her identity? & does she think of herself as a LOSER given the raiders have been a LOSING TEAM for so many years now ? In fact the winning years w/ stabler, plunkett, bilitnekoff, casper, tatum...are long gone, .
.& then a few feet away another white guy...sad & depressed & drunk...also tried to intimidate me...so scary...he almost made me laugh...threatened to throw me over the wall of the coliseum..ha ..pathetic figure..I was actually glad for the raiders when they won..these fans needs some hope, some love..there's SO MUCH MORE to life than raiders football..come to Jesus my friend & come alive ! raider fans...take off the death masks & start living life...GET A LIFE before its too late...football & raiders are ultimately MEANINGLESS in the big picture..wake up before its too late.
