MOST IMMIGRANTS TO AMERICA DON'T EVEN KNOW OUR CLICHES OR FIGURES-of-SPEECH: SO I CALL another place..guy named PETER answers..speaks English as a 1st language..& understands American "cliches" such as "nickel & dime" & "mickey mouse" as I relayed the experience I had with the Armenian mechanics to him. That's another problem with immigrant groups who don't get educated here. They don't understand our cliches, & our figures-of-speech. They're like perpetual visitors who NEVER assimilate nor acculturate yet maintain a superiority attitude towards us & our ancestors who made living in America possible for them.
