m: "No gospel more comforting ..than what we haave heard..common for people to worry..God knows how things are..kids worry abt grades.we worryabt children, financial worries..re health..doctor..worry worry...but god says "I know...don't worry..am w/ u...will care for u.." wonderful saint..padre pio, new saint..many wonderful..he helped people to see & have trust..a woman..orphan..fr england c..came to paris..work in shop..owners died..she kept working.but things not good..she wrote to pio..wanted to go..he said, no u stay..so she stayed..one day met man, got married..she credited pio..another man..stationmaster italy..couldn't get out of bed.doctor puzzled..took him to rome..said he had tropical disease..not much we can do..medicine won't cure..they went to monastery of pio..weather bad..hard to get up hill..priest carried man..pio saw their faith..took care of them..time to go..pio said have great confidence..when get home..ride your bike down hill..he did so..fell..thought he would die..somebody came & picked him up..first pain, then new strength..he was cured..clinic in rome couldn't find any trace of sickness..some of us experts re anxiety..think of pio..god takes care..let us give thanks..words of lord.." 2/27/11 Is 49:14-15 Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me; my LORD has forgotten me.” Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow They do not work or spin But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat? or ‘What are we to drink?’or ‘What are we to wear? All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil."
