..I. agree..being genuine & authentic is important, but its all in the "eye of the beholder"..and the beholder always has a conscious or unconscious bias in one direction or another..... if I am auditioning in front of a homosexual director she may determine that I am not a person of integrity because I am opposed to homosexuality ...yet I am being genuine & authentic according to my faith & beliefs, ...yet the director doesn't like me for it and may even say its "not authentic" ...u see the problem ?
