12/22/09 c-blog, ASK GOD TO HAVE THE MENTALITY OF THE BLESSED MOTHER IN YOUR LIFE, Holy Family Church M: "Three days from Christmas..beautiful gospel passage, prayer of Mary...blessed mother really praises God & His mercy..the magnificat prayer...blessed mother ..God showed all His mercy & love because of the attitude she kept in her life..humility...faithfulness...all this is very clear in the prayer...blessed mother...humble servant..mercy on those who fear God...prayer of the magnifcat...good servant..good follower of God...humility in our life..attitude of openness..believing in the promises..beautiful prayer we pray..time of hope..joy..prayer of blessed mother help us come closer to the promises of Christmas...His people who trust in Him..humility, gentlness..ready to share..love & compassion to somebody..proclaiming God is near...God is thru you..mercy..love..God is here...as we prepare for Christmas..ask God to have this mentality of blessed mother in your life..share that joy"
1 Samuel 1:24-28 "In those days, Hannah brought Samuel with her, along with a three-year-old bull an ephah of flour, and a skin of wine and presented him at the temple of the LORD in Shiloh. After the boy’s father had sacrificed the young bull Hannah, his mother, approached Eli and said:“Pardon, my lord! He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation He has shown the strength of his arm and has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children for ever.” Mary remained with Elizabeth about three months and then returned to her home....
