January 21'st...we celebrated one great saint who gave up life at such a young age..she refused to give up Christ...she said she would never ...st. agnes at age 13...today we honor another such person...who decided not to give up loyalty..a ruler wanted to test loyalty...to the idols..agatha refused to worship the idols..she went to death fully aware of what she was doing...she kept her promise to the end...not even death can destroy the church, in fact the opposite is true..the sacrifice of many has helped to deepen our faith..as we honor the great saints..thank the Lord for His sacrifices..let us also be ready to give our own sacrifices..."
