8/5/10 VID MESSAGE FOR DAVE "DJ" Dejong in GRAND RAPIDS, MI: I knew dave from childhood in grand rapids...in fact when I first transferred to seymour christian from the public school in 5th grade he welcomed me by picking a fight with me by the baseball field next to boorsmas grocery store in alger heights. ever since, we were "pals" , sort of, but then again maybe not..off & on over the years we would socialize with "christian" friends...camping @ pentwater, swimming in their backyard pool, watching tiger games on tv, camping @ holland...& the list goes on...I remember their dachsund dog named pretzel...also camping at my dad's christmas tree property in newaygo w/ rick byle..& he moved into the house I vacated in 1990...he never came to california though...we also got in a fight at football practice once..& coach bill "moose" holwerda sent him to the locker room..ha..good ol' dj..we had some times together..so Lord I pray for him & his family...his wife from nova scotia & their kids...a few boys I think...God be w/ them & help them grow in faith & love, & hopefully help to spread the good news of Jesus & not be entangled in legalism..hear my prayer..
