Its SO CRAZY..in most towns, the closer u are to the baseball stadium, even the stores & businesses are aware of how the "home team" is doing ..so everybody in town is a little happier when the hometeam wins but around Angel stadium after a win I will stop in at a store or restaurant & they'll say, robotically, "How are you?" & I will say "Great, Angels won !" & they'll give me a blank stare like "what, who?"
There's like NO, Or Very little, "baseball community" here in Anaheim (& not much different at dodger stadium)..(except for those who actually GO to the games & they're all dispersed after the game)...most other towns there's an entire community built around the home team.. you would be EMBARRASSED & shame faced not to have a little home team spirit, but NOT here..
