SO U R A PASTOR & A HOMELESS MAN IS CAUGHT TRYING TO BREAK INTO YOUR CHURCH KITCHEN...
...what do you do ? Prosecute ? Or work something out w/ the fellow ? ..turns out this happened at a church in downtown los angeles & it was a fellow's "third strike" (meaning he had been convicted twice previously for petty crime). Since it was a third strike he was sentenced to 25 years. What would you do if you were the pastor ?
I read about this last week & apparently some legal group that helps prisoners thought it was a bit harsh & went to bat for him & got him released early.
