11/25/10 RECAP of TONIGHT SHOW, THANKSGIVING DAY (tonight show blog):
... in line..african-american guy wearing tomlinson jersey behind me at jay leno..staff : one guy from hastings MN (good guy), another from SD, another also from MN ..mm: "make your last call to loved ones.." ha .. I said to TomlinsonI "Does anybody speak english here". Tomlinson said "to each his own/...good cultural diversity"..I wasn't mocking it..just commenting ..adding, "I'm used to hearing spanish, but this sounds like czech, polish, hindi...etc". .. just my luck I had one of those types next to me who thinks EVERY SINGLE THING that happens on the show is absolutely HILARIOUS. He's hooting & hollering in my ear ...non-stop..he's the one u will hear yell, "WE LOVE ELIZABETH!" When she comes on... Its the guy w/ the tommlinson jersey ..anyways, apart from that ..monologue was fairly good..jokes about how much americans eat ..some tsa jokes of course..this one was funny..of the macys parade showing a giant inflatable tsa dude feeling up one of the macys inflatables ..then elizabeth came on ..she talked abt her husband ..leno kept asking abt her husband too ...she talked abt "the ledge" & showed a clip from it..she actuallu was on a high ledge in nyc ..for the filming of it ...she plays a prisoner in another movie w/ russel crowe ...then marjorie johnson, a chef from minnesota ...she talked a lot . Jay asked her if her husband has ever said anything since "I do' at the wedding..she said he says "yes dear" ha ha *they've been married 64 years ! Finally carrottop came on with a bunch of gag props ...including one of the new bush book which he made the nose grow (I.e. pinocchio)...also a shopping bag wiith a boxing glove for women on black Friday ...and. bunch of others..fairly humorous..pretty good stuff ...first time I've seen carrot top ...oh, the show starts tge same way every time ..with videos of musicians incl justin bieber..adam lambert (no thanks)..& a few others ...& the skinny african-american warmup guy ...he changed his imitation of a receiver being tackled to a parachutist who just realized in mid-air he grabbed his backpack instead of his parachute ..kind of good.hope he keeps coming up with new ones..the downside of the leno show are the STARING poker-faced security guards *(& a few burbank police) during commercial breaks ..also being next to a total moron..(dude, u don't HAVE to laugh at hi-volume at EVERY single thing..take a breath, calm down, use your brain,)

We cannot ignore what's happening in the world around us:the good, the bad, & the ugly, but we CAN try to respond to it thru the LENS of FAITH !
