11/10 Re MY CONVERSATION with DARYL BOHANON
   (1 week before Thanksgiving)

Or something like that..this guy started talking to me in the parking lot.. a portly african-american man orig from chicago...went on & on..I was telling him about my negative experiences w/ racism in the schools ..& he went off on various tangents...I kept coming back to my concern about racism agaist whites in the L.A. public schools & trying to get some advice from him..thinking he might have something wise to say..& u don't hear it hear but he said to me "You're a CHRISTIAN GEEK"..

At first I thought he was telling me how some of the inner-city kids think & perceive things re people (or misperceive them)...& I think he was at first ..but he kept coming back to it..& said it again..then the next day there was a gathering for a free meal at veggie grill & he said it again..it started to feel more like he was trying to insult me ...but at the same time I kind of felt sorry for the fellow..anyways, thought I'd share that with u all...

This guy said he is also working on a film ...and that he won't shave his beard until he finishes it..he said he went to film school ..colorful fellow (language too, lots of f words which seemed strange for an elementary teacher)...he knew about the bible & about christianity but didn't seem to be "in Christ" ..he said his potential movie in the making has a lot of violence & profanity..now that's a inner-city thing , or a "ghetto thing"

...the constant profanity around "white boy" to see if they can shock & disturb Christian white boy..but it fails to shock..it only turns me off..& makes me uninterested..its like a pesky mosquito..but daryl used the colorful f adjective in between every other word ..& he's a sub teacher ..for elementary..not that I'm perfect but I don't see the purpose of constant profanity...I just don't get it...unless you're trying to offend..which seemed to be the case
