Oh c'mon...because of 9/11 Pasadena claims they now need to search all motorhomes along the parade route ? Get real. If a terrorist wanted to sabotage the parade they could drive up in a suicide bomb vehicle at any time and place along the parade route and not much could stop it. They wouldn't need to park near the parade route at all.
The search is an excuse to show power & maintain the heavy-handed control Pasadena Police enjoy way too much. I can't help but wonder if Hugh Halford, an assistant city attorney for Pasadena is behind this new "policy." I'm sure the German Nazis had "security" reasons for searching all Jews as well, and later "good security reasons" for eliminating the Jews.
