12/1/10 So I had a ticket to a show being filmed @ fox studios called "the daily habit." I regularly attend shows around L.a. Aand review them online as part of my "hollywood blog". I have never seen this show (don't watch TV for that matter, only go to tv shows here in hollywood). I arrived at fox at 115 pm for the130 show ..not many people in line...african-american security lady asked for my ID ...& I HANDED It to her thru my car window..she seemed to gesture toeards this other guy ..(a white guy named Lane dressed in jeans & sweatshirt looking a little seedy)..he asked if I had a ticket, & I said yes ..& I waited some more..the security lady said she was having trouble "printing the pass". She asked me to turn around & park outside for a moment. I obliged her & waited..then Lane came up to me and handed me my driver's license & said, "Security won't allow you to come in"...I was stunned ..I've been to many shows all over LA.., never any problems. Never denied, never asked to leave. I didn't argue aat the moment. That's what they want..then they can say you were uncooperative or argumentative, but I immediately called security & they said they did NOT make a decision to deny me. They said it came "from production." I called back a frew times & spoke with different people & the best that I can come up with is that it was Lane (& maybe a little bit this african-american security lady) who decided by themselves to turn me away. Maybe just Lane ?
He's white, I'm white, doesn't matter. I got beat up by white cops once. Certains types of whites don't like other types of whites. Its just another form of racism. So I already wrote a letter to the producer of "The Daily Habit" and will send a few more. Courtney, who works for Fox, said, the show just rents space from Fox Studios. Fox has nothing to do with their people or decisions.
In Short I was discrimated against. Please PRAY for me (it hurts) & for Lane (may he have a conversion like Paul on the road to Damascus; I suspect he was thinking "Christian moron" about me, or as Daryl Bohanon called me, "Christian geek". It hurts, but more importantly, these guys need to see the light. Forgive them , they know not what they do.
