1/10/11 cblog  THERE HAVE BEEN NOR WILL BE ANY NEW PUBLIC REVELATIONS SINCE THE TIME of JESUS CHRIST ; blessed sacrament m: "God speaking thru Jesus..if like me, business of Jesus speaking. B/c god sometimes seems silent..silence makes god seem distant..sometimes hear abt priests or others fall into tempt...when tempt is so close, if god is far...few months from now..mother theresas memoirs..she said god seemed absent at times...secular media was surprised..but I'm not surprised re "dark night of soul"..why is god silent..has nothing to say ? Not really but he has spoken thru Jesus..he's said everything he can say..nothing new..no new prophets..nothing beyond Jesus...no new books of scr. No new pub revelation ..when last apostle died, closing of all pub rev., everything necc for salv. Already given, anything further..is private rev. Catholics are not req to believe in priv rev., even when church teaches re  immac conc, or assumption,,that's not new teaching, just explaining better,,,, church is conserv..deposit of faith, conserving..we don't have new things.., no auth to teach anything new..what the holy spirit is doing now..is unfolding the truth more clearly, but dates back to time of Jesus ..no new rev...father already spoken all he can say .."

Heb 1:1-6 Brothers and sisters: In times past, God spoke in partial and various ways to our ancestors through the prophets in these last days, he spoke to us through the Son, whom he made heir of all things and through whom he created the universe who is the refulgence of his glory the very imprint of his being and who sustains all things by his mighty word When he had accomplished purification from sins he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high as far superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
