To: <vanderkok@gmail.com>...he said they couldn't find a place to stay..here in arcadia ...there's no homeless shelters here..told him to try pasadena or downtown L.A. ..PRAY for them..people periodically come to southern Cal thinking it will be an easier, nicer life, but the only thing easier & nicer is the weather (and not always) ..as for everything else I think it is MORE DIFFICULT here..as evidenced by the fact that southrn cal residents ranked close to the top on a "stressed cities" list I saw recently
