2/3/11 FAKING FEAR (of somebody) is FRAUD & POTENTIALLY DEFAMATORY
To PRETEND you are afraid of somebody for self-serving, political, or simply spiteful reasons, or any other reason is essentially fraud, and all the MORE SO if it defames somebody. Faking fear would apply to "unreasonable" or "irrational fear, out-of-proportion to anything that might reasonable evoke a feeling of fear. I could CLAIM I am afraid of Mickey Mouse, but that doesn't mean Mickey Mouse constitutes a reasonable threat.
