HUGH HALFORD WAS WRONG TO BASH CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL VOLUNTEERS Tag: halford, crystal cathedral

HUGH HALFORD WAS WRONG TO BASH CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL VOLUNTEERS: Halford was being elitist & supercillious, albeit he doesn't really have the credentials to back up his pride. He apparently attended UC DAVIS in northern Cal (near Sacramento) (a decent school, but NO ivy league) & then worked as a police officer or in some capacity at the LAPD, during which time he apparently attended law school at southwestern (which is NO usc, nor ucla, nor anywhere in the top categories of law schools; its a local law chool for angelenos, maybe like a Cooley law school in Grand Rapids). Then he worked as an assistant city attorney for the city of Santa Ana. He was involved in some controversy in a case entitled People v. Mooc after which he left Santa Ana & took a job in Pasadena as an assistant city attorney around 2000 or 2001. That's when I ran into him (or he into me actually). He was on the "rebound" looking to get known by the judges & others in Pasadena. Boy, he sure made a name for himself at my expense, but then after all the dust settled, I think most honest people, including the honest judges knew the truth. Nonetheless, despite feeling hurt & injured by his attacks on me, personally, one thing that still stands out in my mind was his attack on the crystal cathedral volunteers. When I informed him, in the process of discovery, of my participation as a phone counselor at the crystal cathedral, he jeered & made some belittling comments about crystal cathedral volunteers, & "volunteers" in general. He really thought he was something special, but he made a lot of mistakes in the process of litigation, even attacking me in writing was fairly amateur..I kept copies of EVERYTHING..& am slowly but surely revealing the truth about this cowardly dude. I also got a feeling that he was socialist or communist, politically. I had NEVER experienced a personality such as his before. It was very disconcerting. He wasn't interested in truth, only a hollow "victory" on paper.
