WAS MARY MAGDALENE the "BELOVED DISCIPLE" ?

Brown suggests that in order to make this claim and maintain consistency with scriptures Mary's separate existence in the two common scenes with the[ Jn 19:25-27] [ 20:1-11] Beloved Disciple[ Jn 19:25-27] [ 20:1-11] were later Beloved Disciple were later modifications, hastily done to authorize the gospel in the ate 2nd century.
