5/8/11 The OC (Orange County) WHITE BOY COULD HAVE GIVEN ME A HEADS-UP but REMAINED POKER FACE

Camerazoom-20110508150819

5/8/11 BLIND LEADING BLIND: I PARKED ON RAMPART STREET On my way to an Angels game  ALONGSIDE A BUNCH OF OTHER CARS...ASSUMING IT WAS LEGAL b/c they were already parked there..but every now & then we need to be reminded that just because "everybody's doing it" doesn't mean its allowed..turns out they were ALL illegally parked, albeit there was only one small sign for a relatively long section of the street (that's OC style, a regular cash cow, why should they mark it any better if they get a regular amount of income from it ?) .

When I returned to my car, I had a $54 ticket under my wiper, along with several other cars, thanks to Officer J Meyer, badge #919 .  What makes it worse is that as I was parking, & after I got out of my car I walked past a parking lot attendant, a young OC anglo man, only a few feet from where I parked, (he was selling spots for $5 in a private parking lot), & he could have easily given me a "heads up", but he remained poker-face. That's another OC trademark. They're out for #1, themself, nobody else. C'mon OC people, show a little neighborly care for others. Buddy, all you had to do was point at the sign ! Good thing is Angels were leading when I left the game at 7th inning stretch. Did they win ? On Mothers Day?
