5/23/11 Re CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL TACO BELL. Its right across from the Cathedral @ Lewis & Chapman but no longer has that Cathedral style hospitality. I went here after Angels game..angels beat oakland..big 8th inning..torii hunter great game..but I step inside & nobody comes up to the counter..I wait..patiently..they know I'm waiting but nobody says "Just a moment sir." Then a Latino comes out (of the restroom?) And up to the counter..doesn't say "sorry about the wait"..(they're ALL latino btw)..but usually OC latinos are nicer than LA Latinos ..not here though..I have an angels hat & shirt..they don't seem to have a clue that the angels had a game...or even that the stadium is nearby..to be nice they could say "How'd the angels do?" But they're indifferent..the guy gives me my order wondering why I got this big white boy smile on my face..and says, perfunctorily, "Have a nice evening" as if he wasn't used to saying it, nor that he really cared, but more like "Here's your food, now get the hell out of here, pale face" . This is a gangsta Taco Bell. It used to be really nice, but its changed.
