WHO HAS MORE ALLEGIANCE TO THE ANGELS? & Entitlement to Angel Stadium? THOSE WHO REGULARLY PAY TO ATTEND & CHEER OR THOSE WHO WOULDN'T BE HERE IF THEY WEREN'T GETTING PAID ? & How about the Tonight Show? & Dodger Stadium?
WHO HAS MORE SPIRIT & ALLEGIANCE ? Every time I go to an Angels game, as I'm leaving, whoever is at the outer gate likes to say, "Thanks for coming" as if we were the guests and he, or she, personally, was the host. But who wouldn't be here if they weren't getting paid? The fan or the worker?
Furthermore, the fan, in general, is going to have a
Greater knowledge of, awareness, & interest in the specifics of the team (especially more than those working outside the area of the stadium where u can actually see the game; and when I speak of "employees" now I'm not talking about coaches & broadcasters et al who are attentively connected to the specifics of the player and game; I'm talking about the low-level employees who attend the gates, do concessions, etc, but know nothing about the game, players, etc (apart from the broadcasters, etc, & some of the ushers who manage to keep an eye on the game) .
Its the same at the Tonight Show with the low-level line people. They don't have any real devotion to the show or host as far as I can tell, & don't pay close attention to the guest interview or dialogue. Yet, some of them are quick claim the studio as "theirs", and a gal named Paige even said to all the guests one time: "No taking pics until you are off OUR PREMISES." Ha Ha, "our premises." She's a line worker, not a founder of NBC.
There's people in line who undoubtedly work for some of the sponsors of the Tonight Show, meaning they pay the wages of a lot of NBC employees. I would they have more entitlement than Paige who only takes from the show.
And then over at Dodger Stadium, there's the guy at the gate, Latino of course, who, when I asked about temporarily parking in the stadium parking lot while I get tickets for a later event (supercross day) responded, "You can't park on OUR PROPERTY, but you can park on the street." Ha ha "our property." Again, its always a low-level dude or dudess who is pulling the "possessive" pronoun, & it seems to be an ethnic thing as well.
And again, there are those who PAY to go to Dodger games & who pay careful attention to each & every pitch, & how the players & team is doing while the people working there, especially outside the stadium don't have a clue about the team or players, and are simply working as parasites. They wouldn't be there if they weren't being paid. Its sad.
