WHO HAS MORE ENTITLEMENT TO NBC STUDIOS & THE TONIGHT SHOW? THOSE WHO SHOW UP FOR FREE TO CHEER & LAUGH EVEN WHEN ITS NOT SO FUNNY ? OR THOSE WHO WOULDN'T be there if they weren't getting paid ? I remember at the leprechaun world record episode I was standing next to a Tonight Show employee by the name of Paige (who has been slightly promoted apparently, but still works the lines before the Tonight Show) and we were in one room while another group was in another room, & I asked the gal if Jay was going to come over & she sort of scoffed as if she didn't even like Jay, & didn't really answer) . That's what I mean by "Who has more entitlement to Jay & the Tonight Show and just being around NBC studios? Those of us not gettiing paid but who nonetheless support the man who is in front of the camera (& from what I've heard has shown loyalty to his workers) or those who barely support him, or not at all (apart from doing their job in a perfunctory manner & only because they get paid for it. Obviously, u can't expect employees to sign a "profession of faith" to Jay Leno as a requirement for being hired, but I would hope that the employees are screened as for a bit of genuine fondness for Leno, the Tonight Show team, et. Al (but then, there's a lot of good fakers out there, and probably a need for low-level workers whether they're loyal or not).
