Subject: 6/13/11 WHAT an HONOR: A HANDWRITTEN NOTE from the GREAT ZAMPERINI !

..just got it today..zamperini, of course, was an olympic athlete & war hero...actually a POW (prisoner of war) for a while after survivng weeks in a raft in the middle of the ocean w/ a few other soldiers ...he's a survivor of the war...& he grew up here in southern cal...in torrance to be exact..there's an airport named after him ...great guy..saw him for the first time at the crystal cathedral & put a little clip of him on YouTube & the clip went "viral" as they say...over 10,000 views now...that's a lot for my channel..the most being a Tony Dorsettt clip..which is almost to 100,000 now, but zamperini was/is more of a hero for his sacrifice for our country (could have easily ended up MIA (missing in action) or in a coffin on a plane back to the USA) ...& his friend, John Naber, the great olympic athlete (swimmer) magnifies Zamperini...these guys go around doing book signing & inspirational speeches..& I think zamperini is still working on a movie..sometime to be released..I've seen some YouTube interviews of him as well..fascinating story..& most importantly in my book ..he's a Christian believer & is telling the good news..spreading the faith like the wind ...an apostle..both him & John Naber..partners in Christ..God bless them..!
