Subject: 7/21/11 ANGELS POST-GAME REPORT, TAKE 2 of 3 v RANGERS

...winning the 2nd two of 23 here in anaheim...its a big psychological boost as well as a boost in the win-loss column ..as angels stop the rangers win streak & maybe start one of their own..and unlike ystrday with so many big hits in the 6th, the angels won today with NO RBI's ..only 2 hits..rangers had more hits, albeit weaver pitched a great game & had some good help from his defennders incl an incredible catch by rookie trout in cf !..so angels now have a big opp to start a new wave of winning momentum..a spring to labor day..team loks good, sharp..all heads in the game..no running errr today btw ..that's one heads up I've been sending the last few weeks trying to get mike (scioscia)s attention..or whoever the base-running coach may be for the angels..need to do a little pep talk re base-running now & then..keep 'em aggressive but not fanciful ..sure u r the angels but the laws of physics seem to still apply most of the time..so pick & choose when to go 4 that extra base.
