..wow ! crystal cathedral, sheila schuller, board member walt, jim penner, et al, stated from the pulpit today that the cathedral is a church & a ministry & not something for sale, like a business ..& they announced their hope (our hope) of raising $50 mil in 120 days ..that's about $500,000 per day..is it possible? anything is POSSIBLE !...tHis is a big order, a big hope ...& people will have to dig deep during thse difficult times to make it happen ..I'm a BIG BELIEVER..& I simply pray "Thy Will be done..." If it is God's will, it will be done ...I don't mind other ministries making offers, but..not in a "power move" maner..as if to gobble up the cathedral or whiteash it of its history..there has to be some respect for its legacy..& factual accuracy, not misleading. for the press ... rhetoric....so whether they (we) raise $50 mil or whether they (we) merge with another mnistey..it must be a true merger not a sellout..not a "wham bam thank u man" moment..there mist be respect for the body of Christ..
