(btw, I wish frank wouldn't say "bro" & "man" so often to his guests..does he say "dude" too?.these are pejoratives used by clerks around los angeles...not that frank is using them in that way, but he should know that others do so). Heard the discussion on the radio today...I usually agree w/ frank..& still do on this matter, but w/ some exceptions..he's saying theoretically SJC (san juan cap)  could require a CUP (conditional use permit) if 3 people gathered & opened a bible...but that's getting ridiculous...I don't think SJC would go to such extremes..this is about a bible study of 40 people ..that's getting up there in #..but if its a rural area w/ plenty of parking it shouldn't be a problem..what bothers me is IF  SJC is doing this in an anti-cHristian vexatious  manner...I agree theoretically that any group should be allowed to gather regardless of religion but would agree w/ such a policy if its used as a "just in case" policy to prevent terror cells, legitimate nuisances, etc. .....so I called Frank PASTORE on the phone...as I was saying ...I partially disagree w/ him..b/c he's getting a bit alarmist ... talking abt this case in san juan cap ..where they fined, or threatened to fine a person (Chuck Fromm & his friend Chuck Smith jr) $500 for having a bible study of 3 or more people at a residential home w/o a cup (conditional use permit) ..40 people apparently gather weekly @ chuck fromm's house ..no outdoor music or loudness, but a neighbor complains ....frank says he doesn't care what the gathering is about..even if its satanic..whatever..it should be allowed as long as its not violating an ordinance (such as parking & noise codes etc)...I got thru on the phone but not all the way..  the guy who screens people didn't think my question was relevant ..b/c I asked "Maybe this is a just-in-case policy" (I was on the phone before I heard the rest of the story as described above; the screener says "What if it was a gathering to study the Koran? You think people would get up in arms about that? I mention Koran only b/c its the book of Islam, but am very certain not every person who is Muslim or studies the Koran has evil intent or is plotting a terror attack..in fact I even read the entire Koran out loud myself & posted it online to help people become aware of what it "really says" ..; the screener ended the call saying "Thanks bud" ) ..in case , for example a terrorist group says they are having a "koran study" ..as a guise for  terror planning. ...then it would be nice to have a policy to break it up before there's solid evidence to convict of a crime .. this apparently is being cited or prosecuted as a "religious case" ..I agree its crazy to prosecute a small bible study ..albeit 40 people is getting up there in number..but if its not in a populated area it shouldn't be a problem like church parking ..churches of course should have their own parking lot...
