Does this confirm the verse "To those w/ more, more will be given..."? Well, that verse is about using your spiritual gifts, but it may be that some (not all) of those who do use their gifts are also gaining more, materially as well . Some poor people, not all, are not using their gifts whatsoever. Just being poor doesn't automatically make a person spiritually superior.
