I Get the FUNNY FEELING that JULIE SET UP KEVIN (englebert sanchez slanderson) TO THINK WE WERE A "PERFECT FAMILY" ......And that this set up a strange set of expectations that were INEVITABLY going to crash. In fact, I feel I have suffered because of this as well, in general, because people set me up as part of the "perfect Jim Kok" family who went from small-town Grand Rapids to the big Crystal Cathedral. Hence, I was supposed to live up to such a perfect image while the self-described small-town Grand Rapids CRC folks could just enjoy being "plain Janes"or Kevin could enjoy just being youtr down-to-earth "good ol' boy" at the expense of the rest of us. All of this. really was unfair to me and made me scramble for survival for so many years. I never promoted myself as Mr perfect. I've always acknowledged myself as a sinner, as coming from the relatively small town of GR. I even have reason to believe that Kevin may have written some libelous letters about me.
