12/27/11 SINEAD O'CONNOR ENDS 16-DAY MARRIAGE:
"Oops. Sinead O'Connor actually has Kim Kardashian beat when it comes who has had the briefest marriage this year. The singer, who wed therapist Barry Herridge on Dec. 8 in Las Vegas, made the announcement on her website Monday. She writes that they probably rushed too quickly to wed and "weren't aware or prepared for the consequences on my husband's life and the lives of those close to him. He has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ended the marriage."
