11/17/11 LISTEN to Ann Marie Carney SPEAK @ BANKRUPTCY COURT re CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL ..this is Ann speaking to Judge Kwan..she's a longtime volunteer, who also worked on the hotline, card ministry, flower ministry, et. Al. And I could empathize with her emotions..its tough losing what we worked together for so long, but then again I encourage them to take heart that it will become a catholic church which will continue to attract people, callers, visitors, new believers et al. If they are doing what they are doing FOR CHRIST they really should be overjoyed that the cathedral is going to the catholics. I hope the catholic diocese will welcome the CC members &volunteers & allow them to continue doing their various acts of kindness under the catholic umbrella, & if these volunteers reject such possibilities merely because it is now named "catholic", then shame on them.
Also: Ann Marie Carney, a 35-year member, said her desire is to serve as a congregant at the Crystal Cathedral for years to come. "Please do not allow us to be evicted from our home church," she said.
