11/17/11 LISTEN to JON SIMPSON (?) SPEAK to the BANKRUPTCY COURT re CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL ...an elderly man who does tour guides at the CC, & his wife is buried in the CC cemetery expresses concern about losing the Hour of Power, Monday Meals, etc but I WAS THINKING that there's a greater chance of the various ministries in existence at the CC remaining in existence if the CC becomes a catholic church rather than part of Chapman university. I imagine the Catholic church will allow tours to continue. Many catholic churches have homeless ministries and other services for the poor. I would assume they would allow some of these ministries to become part of the catholic ministry and some of these current CC leaders or volunteers could continue doing exactly what they are doing under the catholic umbrella unless they are too proud to operate under the catholic auspices. The catholic diocese is always seeking new people, bothvolunteers & employees. I assume they will be willing to work with some of the current CC volunteers as long as they are cooperative & not bossy or have an exaggerated sense of entitlement & ownership of the CC .
