MOUW SPEAKS of the DANGER of CONSTANTINIANISM [This is another criticism i have of mouw & the seminary that sits back smugly & criticizes politics but does nothing practical to help our country & economy & welfare & health system, etc. Its almost like a Pontius Pilate washing his hands of any guilt...while the country gets crucified...] Mouw says: "There is nothing wrong with working within the present political structures to serve the cause of righteousness in the world. But we must always do so with an awareness of the Constantinian danger of forming an unhealthy—and unfaithful!— alliance between the church and political power..." [Mouw need not worry..he's doing nothing in politics whatsoever other than armchair quarterbacking]
