FULLER's RICH MOUW SPEAKS OUT BOTH SIDES OF HIS MOUTH (may 18,2010) [my comment: in another blog post, Mouw chides Rick Perry for praying in public & making his faith an open part of his politics, yet here Mouw speaks, academically at least, of the danger of making religion a purely private aspect of our life. So what's it going to be Rich? I think you just enjoy keeping yourself as the "man in the middle" while chiding others one way or the other, with no action to back it up. What does Mouw do to change politics for the better? To make our healthcare better? To make our economy better? Sure, Rich prays in public as a matter of doing his job, but would he do so otherwise? Would he do so if he wasn't being paid 6-figures to do so? ] MOUW says There are "...elements of the process of secularization that we ought to affirm.
